EDUCATION
The tribal community are vulnerable and the education is very poor, the children do not go to school due to lack of interest, far away school and no proper transportation, since the area is covered by forest there are also chances of attack by wild animals. They are also rushed to do household work since their parents work as labroures.

MYWA provides school uniforms, bags, footwear, stationaries, heath care, income generation activity to parents and fee support to children studying in private school so that the education is ensured to all up to 12th grade. Whenever school building is not sufficient, MYWA also helps them in construction of buildings.
MYWA supports children to bring uniformity at schools and also bring all school going children together to show unity as children belong to different community. This is being done after taking permission from education department to avoid school children’s from dropping out of school without uniforms and also ensure no school going child is left out without uniform, this will also help family in avoiding spending money in uniforms for their economic development. This is supported to 600 tribal students and 250 other students who are economically weak so that the children can continues there education up to secondary level. This support need to be extended to all the children in our working area.

If sufficient rooms are provided for 11th & 12th grade in future the children need not go to nearby towns for higher Education. Hence MCDP along with Education Department as proposed to take construction of 4 additional class rooms through their partners. This will also address the right to quality education.
